Assignment: Read Case Study 2 Part III  and Respond to PB Works Page 4

*****Read below and respond on PBworks week 4

Case Study 2: Is Poor Grammar Acceptable?

Case Study 2: Is Poor Grammar Acceptable, Part I

Your supervisor has assigned you the task of preparing a productivity report for your department on her behalf. You happily do so, carefully prewriting, writing, and revising your report. When you present the report to her for her approval, she tells you to make several grammatical changes prior to distributing it—changes you know are grammatically incorrect and not improvements to the document’s form. Although the report will be distributed with her name listed as the sole author, you are concerned that the errors will make her look foolish and somehow this will reflect poorly upon you in the end. However, she is not interested in your insistence on grammar protocol. What do you do?

Case Study 2: Is Poor Grammar Acceptable, Part II
The scenario is the same as above, with the exception that your name will be listed as author. In spite of the document being authored by you, she is adamant you make her changes. Do you make the changes you don’t wish to make, or do you stand your ground? How could you prove that you are correct? Justify your responses.

Case Study 2: Is Poor Grammar Acceptable, Part III
The scenario is the same as above, with the exception that you made no changes and the document was distributed with your name listed as author. After the errors were brought to your supervisors attention, by upper management, she sent you a memo reprimanding you along with a stern warning. What do you do? Do you stand your ground and explain what happened? How could you prove your story? Justify your responses on PB works week  4. Feel free to contribute to any other posting on the topic. (assist, agree, support, disagree)
